This is a lovely location with great view of ocean, How-ever the food was cold and really over-priced. The place did not look clean on the inside. The staff is rude and not willing to even try to satisfy there patrons. I was not satisfied with the looks of the buffet, so I was looking over the menu while my family ate the buffet. the waitress ask if I was ready to order. I responded I need another minute. she left and came back a minute later telling me my minute was up it was time to order. I am really displeased with my whole experience. my grand-mother said this use to be a great place years ago. I wonder what happened and so dose she. she was one of the family members there that day.

Surly staff, poor selection, high prices, terrible quality.

I wish I was being sarcastic. Seriously, do NOT eat here! It is a nice location and has an appealing atmosphere, but the food, service, and owner are a dreadful blight in an otherwise quaint little town. My family stopped in to sample the Thursday night buffet and it was terrible and way, way overpriced.

The mac & cheese was overcooked, even my little kiddos didn't like it. The roast beef/prime rib was very dry. There was some green translucent pickled stuff that was kind of good; someone told me it the owner makes it from watermelon rind. Afterwards, I realized these were made from leftover customer castoffs - eww! It wasn't just the buffet food that was bad. The next table order ordered the "fresh" fish and really didn't like it because it was deep-fried with a panko-like breading.

Regretfully I ordered the deep dish marionberry pie and peach shortcake. The "pie" came in a little crockery dish with just a top crust, oversweet syrupy glop, and a few berries. I requested no ice cream, but our waiter insisted and said it could put on the side. However, someone forgot and piled it on top, crushing the crust. The shortcake was very soggy with fresh, but very cold peaches on top.

Our server, was a forty something goateed man whose demeanor can only be described as Uncle Creepy. He swaggered around like he would soon own the place, was sloppy, and sneered at everyone. My wife saw him deliberately dump liquid he spilled on the drink tray onto the carpet. The owner is a gray haired hag who could be bothered to tell me what kind of desserts they had, when I asked her directly. Later she went over and fingered all the pies - nasty! The other servers were much younger and seemed nice, but cowered whenever the owner or our older server came near. Their management style seemed to exude the policy that "the beatings will continue until morale improves." I took my toddler to the bathroom while my wife paid the bill and our waiter leered at her and leaned over the counter to see what she would write down for a tip.

This would a be a lovely place to eat overlooking the World's Smallest Harbor if it were not for the owner, service, and food. Someone needs to kick them out and offer fresh caught delicacies with other simple fare, then it would be awesome. After we ate, we walked to the pedestrian bridge underpass and saw local fisherman filleting tuna and other fish. There were a few shy harbor seals and bold seagulls hoping for to snack on castoffs, which would have been better than food we ate.
