  If you are hoping that I am going to write a great review, think again! I am a local of Lincoln City. Ive tried this place before a few months ago and thought it was terrible then! But this morning a friend of mine called me and asked if I would call in a "To-Go" order and bring it to her. I told her that I thought the place was terrible and would rather go get breakfast for her someplace else. She assured me that they had a new cook and that things had improved. So I called the order in. One order was called "Mikes Hot Mess" The other for myself was "Biscuits and Gravy!" How the hell can you mess up Biscuits and Gravy? Well let me tell you! The Biscuits were cold and half baked with particle raw dough! The Biscuits tasted like baking soda. The Gravy was from a package with absolutely no sausage in it at all. It tasted like chemicals! After one bite, I spit it out and through it in the garbage! The "Mikes Hot Mess" my friend ordered had the same terrible Biscuits in the bottom of the To-Go container. With some of that terrible chemical gravy on top of that. With some greasy hash browns on top of that. With 2 over easy eggs on top of that. and topped off with 2 pieces of bacon. My friend ate the bacon and eggs off the top and after seeing my reaction to the "Biscuits and Gravy" decided not to eat past that! And to think this awesome breakfast was a whopping $20.00 bucks plus a tip! I would have been better off to open the toilet lid and throw a 20.00 dollar bill down the toilet! Sorry folks... This was your final chance to earn my business. Now you can never have another penny of my hard earned money! And I will tell every person I know to avoid your place like it has the plague!

  So as far as all the bad reviews.. I feel as though they may be circumstantial, we enjoyed our visit.
  
  At first impression it felt old and a little run down..
  It took about 30 minutes to recieve our food at 11:00 on a saturday.
  I got chicken fried steak which was very well executed, the gravy contained a lot of garlic. But overall i enjoyed my meal.
  My wife got the crab omellette and thought it was "delicious it even had real crab".
  And of course my son loved his pancakes.

  The perfect quaint old style cafe! The food is great, the wait staff is phenomenal, and great friendly atmosphere! YUMMY
